Lucky Lines
Lucky Lines is Oregon’s tic-tac-toe like lottery game that is drawn every day at 6:00pm. Players choose numbers on a tic-tac-toe grid and try to match those drawn in horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines to win prizes. The jackpot will continue to grow every time it isn’t won, which could quickly make this the most lucrative game of tic-tac-toe that you will play in your life!

How to Play Lucky Lines
Each Lucky Lines playslip is split into nine boxes, with eight boxes having a range of four numbers. Players must choose one number from the range of four in each box to completely fill out their ticket. The ninth box in the middle of the grid is a free play which players don’t need to worry about until checking their numbers. If you are struggling to choose your numbers then you can fill in the Quick-Pick box and this will randomly choose the numbers for you.
You can also indicate on your playslip how many draws in a row you would like to enter the same numbers into, with the range being 1 to 14 draws in a row. Each ticket costs $2 per draw it is entered into.
Checking your Numbers
The winning numbers are presented in order as they would be presented on your lucky lines grid, starting in the top left and running across to the top right, then moving down to the second row to follow the same direction across and finally the same on the third row. The middle number is always ‘free’ meaning that if you match the numbers on either side to make a row in any direction then you will match that line and win a prize.
As an example, if the numbers 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25 and 29 were drawn then they would be displayed like so:
If you were to compare them to your ticket, then your grid would need to look like the below for you to match all the lines and win the jackpot:
Prizes
The Lucky Lines jackpot is awarded to those who match all eight lines horizontally, vertically and diagonally. The jackpot amount starts at $10,000 and will increase by $10,000 after each draw in which its not won. There are six additional prize tiers that start at matching just one line on your grid, with the details of each prize tier and the odds of winning in that tier presented in the table:
Lines Matched | Prize | Odds of winning |
---|---|---|
8 | Jackpot- Minimum $10,000 | 1 in 65,536 |
6 | $500 | 1 in 5,461 |
5 | $100 | 1 in 2,185 |
4 | $25 | 1 in 607 |
3 | $7 | 1 in 117 |
2 | $4 | 1 in 27 |
1 | $2 | 1 in 5 |
Overall odds of winning a prize in any tier are 1 in 4. |
There are no odds or prize tier for matching seven lines as it is impossible to match seven lines without also matching the final line to match all eight and win the jackpot.
